Our success is based on a process I call Application Positioning, a service offered only by The Ivy Dean. Positioning is the identification of a student’s talent, ability, interest, or experience that will ensure they stand out in a competitive applicant pool. Then, I develop an entire college strategy centered on a student’s unique Positioning, which includes their college list, application essays, and supplemental materials. After reviewing thousands of applications at colleges such as Harvard and Columbia, I know the strategies that stand out and what mistakes to avoid—significantly increasing my students’ success.
